The PMJ jeans is provided with approved CE knee protectors EN1621-1. These protection are made of thermoplastic material with high density, produced and tested in Italy at different temperatures (+/-20°) with a residual strenght very low, 16.2Kn.

These protectors are made with anatomical shape and fit perfectly to the body parts to be most protected during an impact. PMJ jeans knee protectors are equipped with a system that allows height adjustment. PMJ jeans is the only one that allows the removal of protection from the outside, through a convenient plastic zip, no need to undress!

A pants to be approved as “protective clothing for professional motorcyclists” must have passed all tests provided by the EN-13595 normative. The required tests are listed below:

PMJ -Test passed!

PMJ chose to perform laboratory tests on the materials used. In this way we are able to provide certain values and indicators of what is the true potential of our products. A certified laboratory external to our company, carried out the tests on our behalf, using the methods and requirements of European standards relating to personal protective equipment for motorcyclists (PPE).

The Twaron® used in our products has been subjected to tests for determining impact abrasion resistance, according to European standard EN13595-2, obtaining a value equal to 7.90 seconds of resistance, in accordance with the level 2. Also test for determination of the resistance to cutting by impact (EN13595-4)

and the resistance burts seams (EN13595-3), the result is in line with the level 2. To be defined as protective according to the law (P.P.E), the motorcycle clothing must be certified in accordance with this regulation. Without this certification, the security of clothes is not guaranteed.
